For the first time since the Covid-19 Pandemic that has stopped the world over the last year, Rivals held a combine and camp this past weekend in Coppell, TX. With some of the best talent in the Region and Country able to take advantage of the opportunity to get things jump started for the entire country of high school football players, the name that is the epitome of hard work and seizing opportunities, Aiden Inesta-Rodriguez, 2022 defensive back from San Antonio Brandeis, outshined all in attendance.

On day 1 at the Rivals Combine, Aiden came in and blew the doors off of the competition in the 40 yard dash.He ran 2 of the fastest times and the fastest time at the event with runs of 4.430 seconds and 4.379 seconds on his 2nd run. Coaches were in awe at the first time and in disbelief that some one could calmly come back and run even faster! When asked about it the Brandeis Senior said" I knew my first time was going to be okay. But I was surprised at the second time myself! I felt good and its laser timed so that made me feel good to show my speed." With a spot solidified and invitation to the Camp after finishing all stations that day Aiden was ready for day 2.

After showing up and having to reregister and being one of the final players for the afternoon session to take the field, it was to be left all on the field. Aiden stated "This is a business trip and I had goals to reach. I got the Camp invite accomplished. So Day 2 is just giving it my all." he finished. With that being said, that is exactly what he did. Lining up and getting as many reps as possible at every station versus the countries best, the '22 defensive back put all his abilities on display. Class was in session from that point on, Aiden varied his looks and approaches to each receiver he lined up against. He showed the 4.37 speed in coverage and also great physicality and footwork. On the day he finished with the biggest buzz of the Rivals Camp and with as many interceptions as he did passes completed on him for the day , being 2!

He was the last number called for the Top 10 Defensive backs for the best of the best 1on1's showcase. He once again held his own and kept his name buzzing as he used his senior prowess and ability to showcase his Elite skill set. Incredible, Masterful,Technical,Burner,Smart, Physical and Competitor were all the superlatives used to describe Aiden by coaches at the event. Special Guest Coach Former NFL running back Brandon Jacobs caught wind of him and observed and asked me "Yo! Who is this kid tearing it up over there!?' For his efforts ,from earning the Camp invite at the combine, to locking up some of the best receivers in the nation and earning the Gatorade MVP! G-AWARD. Colleges have taken notice a bevy of Schools have followed and made contact with the San Antonio defensive back ranging from Texas, Yale, TCU, UTSA, Iowa State, LSU and Washington State to name a few. Aiden currently sits at no offers, after this performance he's put himself on a lot of schools radars and definitely opened eyes.

Known as "The Technician" in San Antonio he is '22 Aiden Inesta-Rodriguez from Brandeis High School and this weekend he was "Unrivaled".
