It wasn’t the result we all expected, as the Roadrunners fell short 31 - 29 versus a well prepared Southern Miss team to fall to 3 - 1 on the season. That being said, there were some positives to take away from this game. We will save the negatives for another day. So without further ado here is our Starting 11 most impactful players from this past weekend.

1. Dalton Sturm:

Dalton overcame a slow start and what looked like a shoulder stinger of some sort to finish with over 400 yards of total offense and 3 TDs. He did throw a pick in the endzone to end a drive that should have put UTSA up by 2 scores. What would his stats have looked like if the offense had opened up in the spread?
