There were some big time performances put on by San Antonio area recruits. Here are a few of the stand out players who turned heads.
In the first ever matchup between district foes Pieper and Smithson Valley, 2026 Defensive End,Thor Myklebust made his presence felt with a big performance. He tallied 3 sacks, 2 tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery for a defensive touchdown with 4 tackles. He put on a full display of ability. What stands out to me is his strength, motor and IQ. Currently no offers.
A recruit who put up some astonishing numbers was Seguin 2026 Quarterback Corey Dailey;
26/35 completions 471 yards 8 touchdowns 0 ints
His footwork and movement stood out as well as ball placement on passes and multi platform throws puts his arm talent on display. Currently holds 4 offers from UTSA,Incarnate Word, Texas State and Rio Grande Valley.
In a duel against Seguin . Boerne Champion 2027 Quarterback Julian Navarrete held his own and matched efforts with his own incredible performance.
He threw 20/31 completions 411 yards 6 touchdown passes 0 ints and 21 yards rushing.
His composure standouts on film for being a sophomore. His pass placement and leading receivers on routes on top of throwing a great catchable football makes his receivers jobs easier. Currently holds offer from UTSA.
Cibolo Steele Knight 2025 WR/ATH ,Royal Capell did it all for his team this weekend. Scoring twice offense having a punt return touchdown and blocking a punt while playing Defensive back position at times as well. Oklahoma State is definitely getting a baller.
