While I was in Houston I was able to catch up with one of Texas highschool’s most talented football players in Katy Jordan 2024 Athlete Zechariah Sample, who is signed to Arizona State University.
While some may wonder or speculate why the Katy talent is in Houston and not on campus, after a Deche’ Milburn training session he cleared up any misunderstandings..
“During my time at Del Valle High School my attendance was messed up. So I had to regain all my hours back at Katy Jordan," Sample said. "I got my hours back, but during the whole process, Del Valle and the NCAA couldn’t find a .5 credit that held up my enrollment for the January period. But, I had gone to summer school to make up that .5 credit. The class I believe it was Geometry."
Everything is good to go now at this point for Sun Devils Receiver. “ I will be enrolled in May and I am NCAA cleared.” Sample stated.
He’s motivated and ready to make an impact for the program.
"As of now I’m doing workout plans Arizona State has given me. I’m working out 6 days a week and eating good and right. Protein shakes and protein all throughout the day," Sample said. "Mentally staying ready for when I get there cause I don’t want to let anything get in the way of me playing next season.”
