Find Utopia

Follow the leader! The perfect destination is not always peaceful. With Frank Harris at the helm making his 45th start for UTSA’s offense, there isn’t a stadium where the Roadrunners will feel out of place in chaos (TDECU Stadium). As Coach Traylor says, “Coaches Coach and Players Play!” I think this is the exact situation where no words are needed by the staff as their words are ingrained into this player led culture. Captain Harris has got his fellow Roadrunners focus and they understand the task at hand as they head into Utopia.

Storm the Barnes

By the numbers in 5/10 of the games played by Kevorian Barnes last season, he had over 100 yards rushing. When he had 16+ carries he averaged 138.8 yards per game at an astounding 6.5 yards per carry. He has earned his way to be known as a threat for the UTSA offense and should definitely see 16 + plus carries in the season opener which will bode very well for the Roadrunners attack. Let’s Storm the Barnes!

No Guts No Glory

With certainty there will come a point in this game where UTSA can do the expected thing in a situation, like a 4th and 2 in 1st quarter just outside the kicker’s preferred range. Do you punt? Or go for it! There will need to be an aggressive decision made to set the tone for the game and season. There’s everything to get and the Roadrunners will need to go get it!
