Some players receive an offer early on in the recruiting process, while for others, it might take a while. We have seen where, once that initial offer comes, others usually follow. It is not uncommon for a recruit to pick three or four in a day. For Houston (Tex.) Mayde Creek High School weakside defensive end Tobi Haastrup, who picked up an offer from the UTSA Roadrunners on September 3, that was the case as he announced on X that he added eight more on September 4.

He now sits at 16 offers, with plenty more sure to follow. BirdsUp caught up with him to discuss his offer from the Roadrunners. This was done before his recruitment took off!
