With week 1 done and in the books, let’s look at some players who can possibly put on some big and clutch performances for week 2 in the San Antonio area.
The top rated linebacker from Wagner Ke’Von Carter finally gets to hit the field this week. He’s a versatile and physically imposing player who is athletically gifted in space and covers ground well. I think all abilities will be on display and tested against a proven program such as Dripping Springs and I know he up to the task!
One of the best defensive linemen in the state Julian Hugo is now an upperclassman with 7 offers to his name. He plays with great leverage and intensity i expect him to give offensive lines fits and command double teams. He’s the all around Defensive Lineman effective against the pass as well as run game and gives maximum effort.
Cayden Glass has taken over a San Antonio powerhouse program at and kept them on course after Ashton Dubose graduated. Last season Brennan went 10-3 and seemingly under the radar. Cayden is a nice dual threat passer who’s biggest attribute is his calming presence in all situations. Keep an eye on the young passer , he’s underrated and a winner.
San Antonio’s top player in the 2026 class from Madison , Wide Receiver, Jordan Clay is a gamer with a deep bag of ability and a great competitive drive. He can do everything needed at the position and at 6’4 he’s a matchup problem for any defense. Jordan Clay is an All American who holds 23 offers. Definitely a 5 star candidate .
Rising talented defensive back Mikhail McCreary from San Antonio Johnson, needs to have your attention as his development is unfolding before our eyes. He plays with good anticipation and uses his footwork and hands well as a defender against receivers. The sky is the limit and there’s stars coming this young mans way. He’s got potential to be a shut down Defensive Back once all pieces are put together and attributes activated all ago.
