Welcome back to the Texas Trio! This is a weekly update on 3 in state prospects that I come across and or who are making recruiting waves in Texas, regionally or nationally. Let’s get to it!l

Ke’von Carter 2025 Linebacker from San Antonio Wagner packs a pop on impact on his tackles and is a guy who plays through the whistle with constant hustle. He also shows an ability in coverage to stay with receivers and capable hands to get interceptions. He passes the eye test at 6’3 and 200 pounds. He recently took a visit to the University of Houston and the staff impressed the 210 prospect. He will be showcasing his talent at Under Armor camp as well as TCU and UTSA camps. Schools keeping in contact with him the most at this time are UTSA , Houston, California, TCU and Tulsa.

A Bubbling prospect with double digit offers who should be climbing the ranks at his position nationally is Tight End Mason Peterson from Dickinson. His versatility jumps out at you on his hudl film. You will also notice he splits out wide quite often. No surprise that he trains with Deche Milburn who is rapidly honing and bringing out the best in a lot of top players from Galveston, Houston and Golden Triangle areas of the state. Peterson is a hands catcher of passes who knows how to use his frame and natural advantages to benefit his quarterback. Mason Peterson currently holds 13 Offers from the likes of TCU, Houston, Baylor, Arizona State and UTSA. I'm looking forward to seeing him in camp settings!

One of the special talents in the 210 resides on the southwest side of the city in 2025 Athlete, Aazeryaun Voss from Southwest Hugh School. He primarily plays Receiver but also plays safety and corner regularly as well. He put up 13 offensive Touchdowns while snagging 5 interceptions. He runs the 100 M, 200 M and all relays in track. You definitely see that work paying off in his speed burst and top end speed. He intends on attending camps at UTSA, Texas Tech, Baylor, Texas and SMU.
