Get to Know 210: Dre Spriggs
“I do two workouts a day. I workout ,do school work , then workout again.”says Harlan Junior WR En’Dreas (Dre) Spriggs. “ it’s actually been super easy!” he exclaimed.
Over the past week San Antonio talent Spriggs has received two division 1 offers in Hawaii and Texas Southern.“ I cant keep a smile off my face!” He said. “ the offers have done nothing but motivate me even more!”

The 6-foot-3 inch 180 pound deep threat from Harlan is on his way to a lot more motivation. The likes of Baylor, Sam Houston St., Bryant, Arkansas, Yale, Vanderbilt, Stephen F Austin, Coastal Carolina, and Louisiana Monroe are all contenders who could be making an offer at any moment.
“What schools are telling me so far is they want to get me the ball a lot and to be huge part of their offenses.” he stated.
“ My goal in high school has been to not have my mom pay for college.” Spriggs said “So now, it's get the bag in college! Time to get to work!” He finished.
Harlan High School is moving up from 5A 3 round deep playoff run where they went (12-1) up to 6A for Spriggs senior year. Nonetheless the expectations on the season remain high as well as the goals for Spriggs himself. “I’m excited for my senior year! I know my teammates and myself will leave it all out on the field and we can make it to state!” He said.
Springs is armed with one of the city’s top quarterbacks in Kannon Williams, who also holds an offer from Texas Southern. “ I’m excited about this offenses capabilities. I definitely want to break 1,200 yards and 20 + TDs. Me and Kannon have good chemistry. We’re like brothers!” He said. His Quarterback also has major expectations given the potency of the Harlan Hawks Offense. “Im working on my routes mostly! Next year my routes are gonna be crispy!” Spriggs stated. Both Kannon and Dre play offseason 7on7 as well with area team Texas Smoke.
Dre Spriggs is coming off a season of Varsity football in 7 games played he recorded 21 receptions 430 yards and 8 touchdowns.
UTSA has been in contact with Spriggs but it’s been minimal.
