A name gaining buzz this past season and moving into the off season is Safety, Myles Davis of Judson. One look at his hudl film and you will understand why he's garnered offers from TCU ,UTSA, Houston, Arizona and Oregon State to name a few. He is a dynamic play maker in the secondary and a physical Safety who can tackle and get turnovers at the same clip. He's got great ball skills and walk down speed. He opened the season with a 2 interception performance and maintained being dominant the remainder of the season. Additionally, he can play on offense too.

No stranger to lining up against the opposing teams top reciever is, Bailey Fletcher . He has a 77 inch wing span ,smooth movements and great instincts.Bailey had no Touchdowns thrown against him with 1 interception and 15 defended passes, while only allowing 3 catches in man defense. He's a heady and stubborn defender that is not afraid to mix it up and come down hill against a ball carrier as well.

Coming into his own this past year, Safety , Dontae Carter was a major contributor to the Steele defense . He amassed 7 interceptions and 6 defended passes and caused 2 fumbles. He's a hard hitting ball hawk who is constantly around the football who has great hands and looks to create turnovers. His 79 inch wingspan helps with that! One look at his film and you get the sense of him playing within the defense and making great decisions in where he places himself to be in position to make plays. Schools showing interest are Houston,Colorado,USC,Ole Miss and Maryland.

Paul Mencke Jr played on both sides of the ball a lot this season. He is one of the elite defensive backs in the area. With the amount of time spent on offense this past season I think it will pay off on the defensive side for the Buffalo's defensive back. He's a great blend of physicality and agility with good instincts. He has one intangible you love in defensive players... he loves the contact of the game and isn’t one to shy away. Currently holds offers from the likes of UTSA, Colorado, Duke, Washington State and Arizona State.

A great tackling and aggressive linebacker out of Judson for 2024 is Jaiden Haygood. He is routinely stopping running backs at or behind the line of scrimmage. He can drop back and play coverage when need be as well. He is instinctive in his play diagnosis while relentless in pursuit and packs a punch on contact. Just recently earned his first D1 offer from Mississippi Valley State.

The linebacker for Warriors is an imposing figure. He's a larger linebacker for the area at 6'3 225 lbs. He is disruptive and can take on O-lineman and shed blocks at ease. He has good lateral movement and reads the run very well and not only tackles but causes turnovers. He tallied 15+ tackles for loss and caused 3 fumbles ,5 sacks and 8 pressures.

A bubbling talent and name needing attention during camp season is Elijah Walton. His development made a huge leap this past season. He's one of the fastest and hard hitting line backers in the area. He can drop back into coverage with ease as well as shoot the gap and end plays immediately and make plays for the Hawks defense. He had 11 tackles for loss and 12 pressures along with 2 interceptions w/ a pick 6 touchdown.

The Roughriders leading big man on defense is a motivated talent. He regularly plays in a 3 man front at any spot on the Defensive line. He shows a lot of nastiness and aggression and strength around the football and is a natural disruptor. He shows great explosiveness coming off the line and routinely gets in the back field but also patience ,instincs and speed enough to move down the line and stop cutback lanes while making the tackle as well.

Playing multiple positions and exceling doing what his team needs is his calling card. Tai Atunrase has put up stellar numbers and has an incredible ceiling for ability. Playing defensive back and Linebacker on defense, Tai is a long and physical defender who is a finisher of plays that come his way. He takes great angles in pursuit and engages from great distances on the ball carrier. His strength on plays he is involved in is undeniable.

Dhaylen is a one of the best physical defensive lineman in the city, He's a multi sport athlete who’s got a P5 look and is a presence for the Mavericks. He's a wrecker on run and pass plays. Has multiple tools and moves he can use at his disposal. He has excellent acceleration in pursuit and once in the back field has multiple gears. He is a talent to keep an eye on in this camp season.
